Everything that God does to build the kingdom has its roots
in relationships.
Mission: To
provide a setting where pastors and Christian leaders can
gather around the table to hear the voice of God and one
another for community transformation in our tri-city region
(Acts 2:14, 2:42)
Vision: To see Jesus
lifted up and every sphere of society impacted by the gospel
through continued prayer, new and strategic relationships
and collaborative efforts (John 12:32,
17:20-23,26)
We believe that God’s blessing is given to us as we are
gathered together in unity (Ps.133). A synergy is created as
we come together for Kingdom purposes. One has said that a
synergy can be created in a meeting that can be achieved in
no other way. Synergy is the combined action which is
greater in TOTAL effect than the sum of their individual
parts.
Jesus said it best when He said that we would be PERFECTED
in unity,
John 17:23.
City Impact Roundtables for Christian Leaders meets about
three times a year for a two hour luncheon. Pastors,
marketplace and ministry leaders are all invited. Currently,
we are working with a “program” called Character First!
with the goal of becoming a
Character First! Region. There
has been great interest in implementing Character First!
with recent news stories. We
believe that Character First! is
needed not only in our churches but as a way to care for and
serve our city and bless many people.
